Clean your fridge in 5 minutes
Some of the food we keep in the refrigerator, including fruit and vegetables, is eaten raw and unpeeled. To ensure the fridge remains clean and the food fresh, we should clean the fridge compartment at least once a month. NoFrost technology makes this easier, as we don't need to spend time and energy defrosting the unit: the cool air is distributed evenly to prevent ice and frost build-up on the walls. It's best to use natural cleaning products, such as a 1:1 mix of water and vinegar, or baking soda. Just sprinkle a little on a sponge, clean the refrigerator walls and then wipe them with a damp cloth.
Sparkling clean ovens
Does your oven smell of scorched food instead of the sweet scent of cake? There are several ways of keeping it perfectly clean. The easiest one is pyrolytic oven cleaning, where the unit self-cleans at a temperature as high as 490°C to burn away food residues from every nook and cranny.
Another one is the Aqualitic System, where we can pour some water into the bottom of the oven and set a high-temperature program to soften caked-on food and grease for easy wiping. To clean greasy trays and grills, moisten them with water and sprinkle generously with baking soda. Wait 15-20 minutes and wipe clean with a damp sponge.
Hobs
Cleaning ceramic and induction hobs is a piece of cake: sprinkle the surface with a specialised agent and wipe dry. Gas hobs are a bit trickier, as we need to remove the charred and greasy residue from the burners and cast-iron pan supports. With the flat burner profile and ergonomic pan supports found in Amica gas hobs, this task is pretty simple.
